Hi friends! It’s Naomi here! I hope everybody is hanging in there during this pandemic, I definitely have a lot of weird feelings about everything that has happened so far. Nonetheless, life goes on.
I was temporarily laid off from work in the middle of March since the salon had to close due to the Coronavirus stay at home orders in Washington.
My last day at work was surreal. I’m hoping to be able to go back soon. My job brings so much purpose into my life, and life just isn’t the same without it. I hope I’m not the only one that is missing human interaction! (Also, I can’t wait to have a reason to put on makeup again 🤭)
What have I been up to? Well, now is the best time for a little spring cleaning! With extra time on my hands, I’ve been able to organize my apartment and make it feel more like home. And now, my passion for fashion has been reignited with the addition of a new sewing machine! I have a tiny bit of sewing experience, but it’s always been on my list of things to learn. After doing a little reorganizing in my closet, I realized that it’s about time I start revamping my wardrobe with some better fitting pieces. Being petite, most of the clothes in my wardrobe are slightly oversized, so I’m hoping to make some alterations and create new pieces. I’m really looking forward to sharing some of my projects with everyone in the future.
